The hotel is fairly clean and gorgeous. The atmosphere is family and everyone from the staff are very amiable and extremely helpful. Its rooms are tastefully decorated with the heater and zero decoration plus window open for a very pleasant stay. I would return anytime, thanks very much.

superb location, decent WiFi, steep staircases
Noise levels are unbearable at times!!! The shared bathrooms could be a hassle, especially during peak hours!!! Strongly suggest investing in soundproofing and more comfortable staircases for luggage. Security measures seem lacking. Key management needs serious overhauling!!!

The location is perfect, the stairs are too many and if you don't have a strong man travelling with you you will have issues to take your luggage into the room.

The hotel was relatively clean and safe, if extremely noisy. The location is excellent.

The beds were not comfy at all, and who even allocates only one bath towel? It's not a spa, it's a budget hotel pretending to be a proper hotel. I really expected at least an upgrade for all the trouble I went through. Terrible experience overall, but it was just too hard to completely hate it.

Greatly enjoyed its nice and exceptional staff.
The room was well decorated and brilliant with smoke detectors for my safety. Had private bathroom with all essentials. The location was favourable and magnificent - just walking distance from everywhere I wanted to go.

the room was quiet at night and had a private bathroom, but ridiculously cramped for luggage.

I say adventure cos I was assigned to a room whereby I will need to climb up and down to reach my room... And they have the unique steep step of stair where most Amsterdam housing have.
The staff may ask u to pay extra 5 Euro when paying by credit card. however, I have mentioned that Booked.net did not state there is this charge then he say nvm n wavied it. It sound funny.

I didnt like the hotel, it looks very poor and you can hear how people talk in the other room. They still did not return me the deposit. Will never come again. The only good thing is location.

Perfect for budget seekers
The staff were very friendly they couldn't do enough for us. The location was fantastic you step out and you're right in the hub of everything.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but still acceptable.

Location
2 towels only, the maid service is very limited. Receptionist was not polite although the owner is a kind person.

Convenient location near many attractions.
I found the beds uncomfortable and the towel supply was woefully inadequate with only one bath towel provided per person. The noise from nearby bars was relentless, disrupting my sleep throughout the night. Navigating the steep stairs was a significant challenge.
